Nature of Business: Logistic
Responsibilities:
- To coordinate with Manager in procuring Engineering contract/project
- To study & understand the respective TENDER documents/drawings, drafting out the appropriate enquiry document, and discussing with sub-contractor it implication.
- To prepare & making tender/ quotation to the respective client with regards to cost, technical terms and conditions. etc.
- To follow up, negotiate and furnishing clients' additional information & details and replying to their further enquiries if applicable.
- To report to the Manager on requirement under the laws & regulations governing the practice of Engineer and carrying out his instruction on this matter.
- To liaise with the respective Malaysian Government Department and Local Authorities.
- To Prepare and make applications to the respective Malaysian Government Department and Local Authorities for permissions, licenses, permits, approval, etc,
- To interpret and apply the respective regulations.
- To check and inspect to ensure that the laws and regulations are being complied with.
- To report to the manager and liaise with him on the schedules and procedures for the coordination of project and construction work in progress.
- To make plan and design on all Engineering activities
- To check and inspect the operation on the construction work is being carried out in accordance with the schedules and the procedures.
- To prepare and assess monthly progress payment, construction cost, invoice etc.
- To assist manager in acting as a coordinator between customer and sub-contractors and liaise with them for the supply of material & equipment.
- To assist manager in compilation of all technical drawing and data.
- To liaise with various person in charge of the respective sections of the construction work to coordinate on the schedules and procedures.
- To liaise with Government Department & Local Authority to carry out and effect inspections (as required under the regulations and by-laws) at various stages of the construction work.
- To report to the Manager and liaise with him on the interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
- To instruct and ensure that the drawing & specification are being correctly and accurately interpreted in carrying out the construction work.
- To check and inspect construction work is being carried out in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
- To check and inspect that the material and workmanship are up to the required quality in accordance with the specifications.
- To observe and ensure the construction work is being carried out in an efficient and business-like-manner.
- To record and maintain written document on the progress in carrying out the construction work.
- To prepare and submit to the Manager regularly periodic reports on the progress of the construction work.
- To check and ensure that the progress in carrying out the construction work is being maintained in accordance with the schedules.
- To report to the Manager and liaise with him on preparation of list of material, tools, equipment, etc., required for carrying out the construction work.
Requirements:
Possess at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
At least years’ experience in logistic
Good personality
Must be proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese (JLPT N2 and above)
Proactive and flexible in terms of working hours and type of task.
Possess good communication skill.
Good in time management, project management
Experience or have knowledge construction industry
Languages Required:
English, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese
